The Rotary Club named in the imprint of this website would like to inform you below about which personal data is processed and how when you visit this website.

Purpose: Presentation of the club and communication via the internet
The purpose of processing personal data on this website is to inform users about the club’s activities and to provide ways for users to contact relevant club representatives. Personal data is otherwise processed according to the following legal bases:

• Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR for the processing of personal data with the data subject’s consent.

• Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for necessary processing to fulfil a contract with the data subject or for pre-contractual measures.

• Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR for necessary processing to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject under applicable EU law or the law of a country where the GDPR applies.

• Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for necessary processing to pursue our legitimate interests or those of a third party, unless such interests are overridden by the data subject’s fundamental rights and freedoms. Legitimate interests particularly include our business interest in providing this website, information security, the enforcement of legal claims, and compliance with further legal requirements.

We engage persons who are specifically obliged to confidentiality and data protection in the course of service provision.

When you visit our website, a connection is established with your browser. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, after which your data will be deleted. If your enquiry results in a legal retention obligation (e.g. an order), the data will be deleted after three years. Your data will be forwarded internally to the responsible contact person for handling. It will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.

Member Login

As a club member, you may log in via the “Login” function. Authentication is handled via the Single Sign-On server (SSO). See the separate privacy policy for this service.

Google Fonts

For an appealing presentation of our website, we use fonts provided by Google (Google Fonts, provider: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). The fonts are supplied directly to your browser by Google. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a visually appealing website under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Integration of OpenStreetMap (OSM)

We use OpenStreetMap to embed street maps, enabling visitors to easily find event locations. The legal basis under GDPR is Art. 6(1)(f) – the operation of our website and the interests of data subjects.

OpenStreetMap is an open-source product of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom. When displaying maps, the following data are transmitted to OpenStreetMap’s servers:

• IP address,

• Browser and device used,

• Operating system,

• Website from which you were referred (referrer),

• Date and time of website visit.

If you have an OpenStreetMap account and are logged in when visiting our website, the following additional data are transmitted:

• User ID,

• Email address linked to your account,

• Blocked content and associated messages.
